Pass with margin.

AI exam prep built around one exam. Margin shows how ready you are against the pass line — and builds the daily plan that gets you over it.

How Margin works

  1. 1

Tell us the exam and the date

Pick your exam, when you sit it, and how much time you have. Margin loads the official content outline.

  2. 2

    Take a three-question check

A quick baseline plus how you feel about each area sets your starting readiness.

  3. 3

Follow a plan that re-plans itself

Each day: spaced reviews, targeted questions, and a mock when it's time. Miss a day and the plan rebalances.

  4. 4

    Watch your margin grow

Every answer updates readiness against the pass line, so you always know where you stand.

A score that means something

Readiness is mastery per topic, weighted by the official blueprint, measured against the pass line — or your target score on the LSAT, MCAT and CPA. You'll see the gap close.

Ask “why not C?”

Every question explains every option, not just the right one. Still stuck? The tutor knows your exam and your weak spots, and answers the follow-up.

I picked C. Why is the hearsay exception wrong here?

Statement against interest needs an unavailable declarant and a statement against their own interest. The bystander had no stake — so the stress of the moment is what makes it reliable: an excited utterance.

Questions

Is Margin affiliated with the NCSBN, LSAC, NCBE, NBME, AAMC or AICPA?

No. Margin is an independent study tool. We map practice to each exam's published content outline, but we don't use or reproduce official exam items.

Where do the questions come from?

Every account starts with an original starter bank written for each exam. After that, Margin's AI writes new exam-style items for the topics you need most, and turns your own notes and PDFs into practice. Each item explains every option, and you can report anything that looks off — it's removed from your practice immediately.

How is the readiness score calculated?

Each topic gets a mastery estimate from your answers (recent answers count more), weighted by how much of the real exam that topic represents. Before you've answered much, your onboarding answers and quick check set the starting point. It's an estimate to steer your studying, not a guarantee of a result.

Should I stop using UWorld, Archer, 7Sage or Anki?

Use what works for you. Many people keep a question bank and use Margin for the plan, the readiness score, spaced review and the tutor that answers “why not C?”.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After you sign in once, your study pack — questions, flashcards and plan — is saved on your device. You can practice and review for up to 30 days offline; results sync when you reconnect. The AI tutor and imports need a connection.

How does the free trial work?

The annual plan starts with a 3-day free trial. We remind you before it ends, and you can cancel in a couple of taps from your App Store, Google Play or web account. If you don't cancel, the annual price is charged when the trial ends.

What happens to my notes and data?

Your materials are used only to generate your own questions and flashcards. We never sell your data. You can delete materials, or your whole account, from Settings at any time.

Your exam has a date. Your plan should too.
